The Draft Environmental Impact Statement / Environmental Impact Report (DEIS/R) for the proposed Point Molate Mixed-Use Tribal Destination Resort and Casino Project is now available for public review and comment.
Review and Comment Period: The City of Richmond has extended the public comment period to 105 days, which will conclude on October 23, 2009. Comments on the DEIS/R, sent in writing, must be received by 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2009.
Public Hearings: Public hearings to receive verbal and written comments on the DEIS/R will be held on August 12, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. and September 17, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA, 94804.
Public Workshops: Workshops with technical experts will be held on August 10, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. and August 27, 2009 at 6:00 p.m., at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium, 403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA, 94804. The workshops offer an opportunity for the public to learn about the proposed project, the environmental review process, and the analysis presented in the DEIS/R. Written comments will be accepted at the workshops.
